Summary
SCONe is a community-acquired retinal image research repository held in the Public Health Scotland National Safe Haven. It was created with the ambition of collecting, classifying, and curating these images (many of which pre-date disease diagnosis) to enable early identification of ocular, systemic and neurodegenerative disease by uncovering novel biomarkers, ultimately improving clinical outcomes.
Documentation
SCONe contains retinal images captured by community optometrists collated from participating practices across Scotland.
As they are CHI linked within the Public Health Scotland National Safe Haven, they can be linked to other routinely collected datasets.
