In January 2025, the Welsh Immunisation System Dataset (WISD) superceded the CVVD (COVID-19 Vaccinations) dataset in SAIL. WISD contains additional vaccinations, including for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

This dataset covers patients and vaccinations administered or planned, in or funded by the NHS.

In April 2026, the Welsh Immunisation System Dataset (WISD) superceded the CVVD (COVID-19 Vaccinations) dataset in SAIL. WISD contains additional vaccinations, including for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

This dataset covers patients and vaccinations administered or planned, in or funded by the NHS. Dataset is a de-identified record-level data of people who have received a vaccination, including details of the type of vaccine and date of vaccination.

In October 2022, Welsh Government published The National Immunisation Framework, which sets out the ambition to create a “person centred digital vaccination journey”.
