Summary

Between July 2023–Feb 2025, 295 ethnographic visits (~418 hours) were conducted with participants and close social networks, using observation and informal conversations to explore everyday life with chronic pain. Semi-structured interviews (13–68 mins) informed by iterative analysis, literature, and PPIE topic guides (T1–T6). Participant-led visual methods (e.g., drawings, digital images, collages) supported reflexive discussion.
