Documentation
The Pregnancy Register is created by an algorithm which was developed jointly by CPRD and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The Pregnancy Register lists all pregnancies identified in the CPRD GOLD database and includes details of each one. A single record represents a unique pregnancy episode. There may be more than one episode per woman. For pregnancies resulting in live births, pseudonymised patient identifiers of linked babies in the CPRD Mother Baby Link are also provided.
