The CPRD Aurum Pregnancy Register is derived from the primary care data and contains a list of all pregnancy episodes within the CPRD Aurum database. The CPRD Aurum Pregnancy Register is developed using an algorithm and contains a number of data variables including the start and end of pregnancy, trimester dates and the outcome of the pregnancy. A single record represents a unique pregnancy episode. There may be more than one episode per woman.
