{"type":"doc","content":[{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"type":"text","text":"The North East and North Cumbria region has a population of 3.2m and the SDE covers 1 ICB, North East and North Cumbria ICB, along with 11 Trusts and around 350 GPs."}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"type":"text","text":" The North East and North Cumbria Secure Data Environment (SDE) is currently under development, with a technical platform already in place. The governance structure that will support the programme is being developed and is expected to be operational by the end of December 2024. We are also developing our data request and enquiry processes and will be moving towards a more structured approach in the future."}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"type":"text","text":" Several test projects are currently using the SDE platform to access and use data.
