Build a computer simulation model which uses the information about COVID activity across Scotland to understand what healthcare resources will be needed to support care and maintain healthcare for patients without COVID to ensure services run as effectively as possible for all patients

Public benefit statement

Specifically this project aims to inform NHS Lanarkshire and West of Scotland planning services of healthcare resource needs for future waves of COVID-19 infection and available resource to carry out non-COVID-19 work safely. It is also intended to advise Public Health Scotland on the implication of healthcare resource need across Scotland according to national infection trends seen in Scotland.
