In support of this national response, this project is undertaking the following areas of work. Provide estimates of the incidence of COVID symptoms. The work will also seek to validate other sources of COVID surveillance

Specifically this project aims to provide an estimate of the incidence of COVID which can be used as an upstream indicator to estimate the reproductive number R. The information will also be used to compare information from surveillance sources such as GP surveillance with KCL data for validation and scaling purposes. The work will attempt to look at geographical and demographic variation in incidence. Anticipated outcomes of the project will be a timely, ongoing, estimate of incidence of COVID symptoms.
