In support of this national response, this project is undertaking the following areas of work: It is imperative to identify in advance the areas of the UK which may be the hardest hit by a significant second outbreak of COVID-19. The research data is intended to be used with other warnings and indicators to identify where local authorities may need additional support and prioritise resources.

Specifically this project aims to identify the most vulnerable and at-risk areas of the United Kingdom. Anticipated outcomes of the project are a weekly aggregated tracker of vulnerability and risk at LSOA.
