FARSITE Feasibility will be used for research in primary care (and as part of the DIH Discover-Now collaboration), this will enable and accelerate research by allowing access (subject to access being granted by the North West London Data Access Sub-Group) to the aggregated results from querying anonymised data. Users of FARSITE Feasibility can only access anonymised aggregated results based on data for a group of GP Practices; they have no access to identifiable information at any time. FARSITE Feasibility users will be able to search for patients (at an anonymised level) who are eligible for research studies and inform GPs of this so that they can be offered research opportunities. This will enable streamlined recruitment to research in primary care, leading to greater access to research opportunities for patients in line with the NHS long term plan. There are study opportunities in the pipeline for COVID 19 treatment and vaccination studies that could be offered to patients via primary care through the use of FARSITE.
