This study will examine the ability of the AF predictive algorithm to identify patients at high risk of AF.

This study will examine the ability of the AF predictive algorithm to identify patients at high risk of AF. The ultimate application of this approach is to enable earlier diagnosis and earlier treatment intervention and therefore, improve patient outcomes and quality of life. This in turn can reduce the burden of AF on the healthcare system. Further, the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the focus on delivering health care in a way that minimizes contacts with the health care system. In this context an understanding of the real-world application of machine learning algorithms to aid screening is timely.
