The objective is to better understand the management and adherence of medication in CYP and, to achieve a better outcome in the reduction of asthma exacerbation for the CYP in NWL.
Public benefit statement
1. This project will help us understand which medication treatment is helping in reducing asthma attacks which can be life-threatening. In the UK asthma is the highest childhood morbidity. By understanding which medication treatment is helping in reducing asthma attacks in NWL population this study would help CYP suffering from asthma not only in the NWL but also in the UK and internationally. 2. It would also throw light on which medication, how it is taken and how its adherence plays into the factors. For example, inhalers and inhalers techniques can play huge role in how medication and understanding the relationship with prescription medication and hospital attacks is of great importance to the patients.
