Through partnerships and collaboration with local organisations, this scheme aims to create an environment where Harrow residents can easily access preventive interventions, health checks, information & advice, and educational resources.

Public benefit statement

The service evaluation offers the following benefits: - Demonstrates the programme’s return on investment by capturing its economic and social value impacts, and understanding the proportion of said impact caused by other contributing factors or likely to happen anyway, as well as the duration of its benefit period. These findings will help support future funding decisions for similar or future iterations of the programme. - Identifies how future iterations of the Winter Wellness scheme can more precisely align interventions to target local health inequalities as well as national health priorities such as Core20PLUS5. - Offers evidence to a community-based approach for creating greater community cohesion, support, uptake of appropriate care services for long-term health benefits and reducing systems pressure across care settings. - Identifies the extent to which different stakeholders, including CVS organisations and health and care services, benefit from programmatic inputs and delivery care models. - Consider how quantitative and qualitative data can be harnessed in future schemes to rigorously demonstrate program impact and potential systems change.
