Data from WSIC will help guide the allocation of resources to and evaluation of, initiatives focused on reducing health inequalities in the Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. The WSIC data do this by enabling measurement and monitoring of key health indicators at small area level, in a timely manner, with the added, key benefit of allowing deep dives so that decision makers understand how need/demand for services varies by deprivation/ geography, practice and resident characteristics. With the insights from WSIC data, the councils of Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea are best placed target and evaluate initiatives and services to improve health outcomes and lessen existing health inequalities for their residents.
