Lay summary

The results of this study’ll allow us to identify patient groups who will benefit the most clinically, so that targeting treatment to these groups result in the largest reduction in healthcare burden and more equitable health outcomes for the population.

Public benefit statement

The analysis to date has used robust epidemiological techniques and statistical models to help understand the health profiles of people living with different types of cardiovascular disease and the potential impact of new and emerging treatments. The analysis has been conducted across important subgroups of patients with the aim to identify the populations with highest unmet need and who might benefit most from treatment. We are in the process of manuscript development along with conducting additional analyses to strength the impact of any outcomes.
