Using WSIC data, we will quantify CKM stage prevalence, define CKM phenotypes, assess healthcare utilisation, and evaluate adherence to key CKM therapies across NWL to support integrated, data‑driven population health planning.
Public benefit statement
This project will help the NHS understand how heart, kidney, and metabolic conditions (like diabetes) occur together in the population. The project will also identify groups of patients at highest risk of having these conditions, how patients use healthcare, and highlight where care (like prescribing of medications) can be improved earlier to prevent serious illness and hospital admissions.
