Public benefit statement
This retrospective cohort study will evaluate the impact of the change in COVID-19 vaccination policy. It will compare the pre-policy autumn/winter season (2024/25) to post-policy autumn/winter season (2025/26). The primary objective will be used to assess the effect that the policy change has on all-cause inpatient admissions by comparing outcome rates among patient groups in the pre-policy (2024/25) autumn/winter season with the post-policy season (2025/26).
