The overall aim is to see if changes to policies aimed at reducing the environmental disadvantage of vulnerable communities through targeted local action - such as green infrastructure, active travel, housing retrofit and air-quality measures - can help reduce the associated health impacts, especially at times of extreme climatic conditions and in particular in areas of existing health inequalities.
