Summary

This study aims to describe the current treatment and health outcomes in patients diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF), both of which are types of interstitial lung disease (ILD), using real-world data.

Documentation

The goal of this study is to understand current standard of treatment in a real-world setting for IPF and PPF. Additionally, the study will characterise the patient populations by assessing the demographic and baseline clinical characteristics, diagnosis pathways, natural history of the conditions under current treatment patterns, and clinical outcomes. Moreover, the risk factors for disease progression will be explored, with particular interest in the relationship between the forced vital capacity (FVC) decline and mortality.
