Summary
The National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA), launched in 2009, is the national clinical audit of in-hospital cardiac arrests in the UK and Ireland, and is a collaboration between the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) and ICNARC.
Documentation
The scope of NCAA data collection is “Any resuscitation event, commencing in-hospital, where an individual (excluding neonates) receives chest compression(s) and/or defibrillation and is attended by the hospital-based resuscitation team (or equivalent) in response to a 2222 call.”
