Summary

A study to assess the individual and combined effects of personalised maternity care plans and continuity of carer in reducing the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes among the CORE20PLUS population in the West Midlands. This group includes women from the most deprived settings, ethnic minority groups, those with long-term health conditions, and women with complex social factors.

Documentation

This study measures how different maternity care plans and provision of care by the same midwife or team have reduced differences in pregnancy results among underprivileged populations in the West Midlands. It investigates other factors that might explain the differences in outcomes among women from similar backgrounds who received comparable maternity care.
