Making decisions on Data Access Requests
Once you are ready to make a decision about a Data Access Request, click ‘Manage application status’ in the top right-hand corner of your screen:

Next, you will have 3 options to choose from:

You can either return the application to the user by changing the status to DRAFT. This will allow the user who submitted the application to make changes to their form contents and resubmit if they wish.
Changing the status to APPROVED will confirm the application has been accepted. Changing the status to REJECTED will inform the user that their application has not been accepted. Note that it is not possible for the user to edit their form again if any of these status options are selected.
FAQs
I have changed my mind about the status of an application, how do I amend this?
Once an application has been APPROVED or REJECTED, it cannot be changed. If an application has been changed to DRAFT, then the user must re-submit their application before you are able to make any further status changes.
