Health Data Research UK are sponsoring a focussed Health session as part of the Bioinformatics in the UK track of ISMB 2025. Recognising that the UK hosts this year’s meeting, this one-day track on 20th July is dedicated to showcasing the UK’s research, innovation and talent, and includes a dedicated poster reception and networking event in the evening. The health session will include keynotes from Emily Jefferson (CTO, HDR UK) on the UK health data landscape and Angela Wood (Professor of Health Data Science, University of Cambridge and Associate Director of the BHF Data Science Centre) on the COALESCE study. Abstracts are invited from researchers based across the four nations of the UK, from Academic or Industry researchers in either Research career paths (faculty, fellows, postdocs, postgraduates), or Technical Professional paths (including but not limited to data stewards, data scientists and Research Software Engineers). This event will bring together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in AI and biosciences.
