How you can request access to NHS SDE Network

After requesting access to Cohort Discovery, you will be assigned which data custodians you can query based on your organisation type (Academic or Industry) and geographic location. Typically applications are processed within 1–2 working days.
To access NHS SDE Network datasets, an additional verification step is required:
If you have not yet been validated by the NHS SDE Network, you must first complete the NHS SDE Validation Form – click here to complete it.
If you are already validated by the NHS SDE Network, or once your validation is confirmed by the NHS SDE team, please then click the button below to request that NHS SDE Network datasets be added to your Cohort Discovery collections.
We will confirm your validation status directly with the NHS SDE team. This verification process typically takes 2–7 working days. You will receive an email to confirm when this has been completed and access is granted.
